Lent

Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter.

Lent lasts 40 days in memory of the 40 days Jesus spent fasting and praying in the wilderness before his public work for God began.

  • Reduce something this Lent:

    e.g. “This Lent I will reduce the amount of Netflix I watch to one hour a day”

  • Give something up this Lent.

    e.g. “This Lent I will give up alcohol”

  • Start something new this Lent.

    e.g. “This Lent I will start reading a new book”
