Safeguarding

Church Collective takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously. We have adopted the national Church of England‘s robust procedures and guidelines and The House of Bishops’ ‘Promoting a Safer Church: safeguarding policy’.

You can find out more about the national policies and procedures at churchofengland.org/safeguarding

Our Designated Safeguarding Officer ensures the recruitment of paid posts or volunteers working with children, young people or vulnerable adults follows the Diocesan Safer Recruitment policy.  They are responsible for taking up references, checking documentation and verifying applications through the online Disclosure Barring Checks system, through the Churches’ Child Protection Advisory Service.
