Values

We

We are a network of communities, or Collectives as we call them, who together make up Church Collective. Whether you are 0 or 100, we have a Collective you can call home. Collectives meet across Warrington in homes, parks, coffee shops, community centres, schools, online, etc. shaping church around the local community. Every so often we gather all the Collectives together in one place to celebrate all that God is doing across Warrington. We would love you to be a part of the ‘we’.

Invite

Jesus said that we are to ‘Go out into all the world and make disciples’. Wherever we are in our week, whether that be in school, at the school gate, university, the park, at work, with our families, in our local shopping areas, etc, we want to be a people who invite others to come and encounter Jesus and experience His love for themselves. Therefore we are a people of initiation and want others to join in with us on this adventure and have fun together!

Everyone

Jesus loves everyone. As in all areas of our lives, we endeavour to follow Jesus’ example, hence everyone is welcome at Church Collective.

To play their part

As that well-known school phrase says; ‘there is no I in TEAM’ and Collectives are no different. With everyone using their gifts and talents Collectives flourish.

Worship creatively

The more we love Jesus, the more we want to worship Him. But worship doesn’t just mean one thing or happen in just one way. Whenever a Collective meets there will be worship and adoration to our God. Sometimes it will be really obvious, sometimes it will feel more subtle, but every time it will be creative.

Love generously

Wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we want to love the people around us and be generous to them beyond what would be expected. We want to be people who are like Jesus and His example of radical love and ‘generosity to all’ is the example we want to follow.

Serve locally

A very practical way we can demonstrate loving generously is to find out about our local community and serve those neighbourhoods in practical and meaningful ways. As we do, we hope that people see an outworking of loving generously, ask questions and come to know of God for themselves. Collectives, therefore, are local so people can both serve locally, but also gather together locally as the church.
